Where do I redeem my code?
License vouchers are to be redeemed directly inside xHP Flashtool or xDelete. You first have to connect to your car and save its data onto your device, before a code can be used. The items will be mapped (locked) to your account and to your vehicle.
How long is my voucher code valid?
Voucher codes are valid for 12 months after purchase. However, xAutomotive GmbH reserves the right to change products, parts of products, or product combinations at any future time without further notice. Customers won't be able to claim (partial-) refunds because of a change in regard to the aforementioned categories.
May I resell my code?
Yes, you can resell your code, as long as it has not been redeemed. Whoever redeems the code, becomes the legal owner of the connected license. Codes can only be redeemed once.
I have multiple vehicles. Do I need multiple Licenses?
Yes. All items bought in the shop are valid for a single vehicle. You can order up to 5 licenses per purchase transaction.
How do I check If my car is supported?
Please check under Check Support whether your car is supported.
What are OTS maps?
OTS stands for "Off the Shell". The xHP Flash Combo contains 3 OTS maps specially developed for your model. Equipment and setup may vary depending on the vehicle. Please search for your vehicle in our finder to see a detailed description of the stages for your vehicle! The Stage 0 map is a backup created by your vehicle, so you can reset your vehicle at any time.
What is Stage 1 in the OTS Maps?
Stage 1 files remove the transmission's internal torque limiters, which opens up the way for properly done engine tunes. Without remapping the transmission, any engine tune has to "skew" torque calculations, which negatively affects performance and driving experience. Also, you get a neat Gear Display in your dash D1..D8.
What is Stage 2 in the OTS maps?
Stage 2 files build on Stage 1 files, but are already a complete remap of your transmission, with faster shifts, stronger blips in Sport Mode, more responsive reactions to throttle inputs, as well as many small tweaks and changes to create a more fun and sportive driving experience.
What is Stage 3 in the OTS maps?
Stage 3 files build on Stage 2 files but take everything a bit further. Even shorter shift times in Sport Mode, lightning-fast reaction times, race-style auto-shifting in Sport+, even stronger blips, reconfigured Launch Control parameters, and much more, make our Stage 3 files the way to go for enthusiasts.
Do I need a xHP Flash Combo? I only want Stage x.
You can't get only one OTS map.
The xHP Flash Combo includes all OTS maps available for your car, which are mapped bespoke for your car. More details on what the OTS maps do can be found in the xHP Support Checker! Just enter your full VIN number or pick your car's details and click the button below.

What is included in the xHP Flash Combo?
The xHP Flash Combo includes an xHP Flash License for a single vehicle with ZF6HP / ZF8HP automatic or 7-speed DCT transmission and the OTS Maps for Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3.
What do I need for the xHP Flash Combo?
To use and flash for the first time, you need the xHP Flash Combo license, a suitable adapter, and download the xHP Flashtool app for iOS or Android.
What is the xHP Custom Map Service?
You will be guided by our in-house mapping engineers to create your personalized tune and get the best out of your transmission. It includes a complete map tailored to your vehicle to get the maximum performance out of your transmission. An in-depth analysis of your transmission customization data to fine-tune your map is performed individually.
What do I need for the xHP Custom Map Service?
You need the xHP Flash Combo, as well as the xHP Custom Map Service License and an adapter to flash the professional maps to your car.
What does the in-house engineer need from me for the xHP Custom Map Service?
For a smooth process, we ask you to provide your VIN, a precise description of your wishes, and possibly engine logs, Dynocharts, and drag times. Please consider in advance which optimizations we should carry out for you. Please do not forget to purchase the xHP Flash Combo (if you do not already have one). This is required to use the xHP Custom Map Service.
What is included in the xHP Custom Map Service?
The purchase includes a customized mapping with a maximum of 5 revisions discussed in advance.
What has already been implemented with the xHP Custom Map Services?
Operation of the 6HP28 transmission in the pre-LCI 5-Series E60 or 335i E9x or individual settings of shift points, uphill/downhill shifting, torque converter behavior, dynamic changes, warm-up or removal of regeneration maps, and much more.
Can I have several cars in xDelete?
Yes, but you need a separate license for each car.
Do I need an xHP Flash Combo to flash/use xDelete?
What is AWD Sport in xDelete?
Sport mode is a completely recalibrated setup for the sporty driver. This mode reduces understeer and makes your BMW easy to drift.
What is AWD Snow in xDelete?
This mode is similar to AWD Sport mode, but is optimized for low-friction conditions such as snow and ice. Recommended for winter driving fun!
How long does it take to get the license after purchase?
I have paid but have not received a license. What can I do?

I can't find my car in your list of supported vehicles, is it supported?
Tuning a gearbox is a lengthy task, which is why we cannot support all vehicles at once. If a vehicle is not yet supported, it does not mean that it will never be supported. Please like us on Facebook or Instagram for up to date information on supported vehicles or email us at support@xautomotive.com.
If there is sufficient customer demand, we will be happy to add more vehicles!
How can I contact xHP Flashtool and xDelete support?
You can contact us via email support@xautomotive.com (preferred) or via Facebook and Instagram chat.
State your account email, your VIN and send through the logs. Describe your challenge in max. 5 sentences.
What are logs and how do I send them through?
Logs are text files that automatically save events on your end device. We need these to gain insight into why you are having challenges with the app.
You can find them in the app under More - Send logs and confirm with Yes.
When is the support available?
Our support team (support@xautomotive.com) responds within 24 hours on working days. It is available from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 CET. It is not available at weekends.
How can I become a xHP Pro User?
Here are the requirements to become an xHP Pro Dealer:
You must be a professional tuner with dedicated workshops where customers can have their cars tuned during normal business hours. "Mobile only" tuners cannot become xHP Pro dealers.
You need a professional business email address, e.g. office@companyname.com with a dedicated domain. Or at least a public domain that includes your company name, such as companyname@gmail.com.

Why is my xHP Pro account blocked?
Please check that all outstanding PayPal invoices have been paid. After the last invoice has been paid, it takes about 25 minutes before your account is automatically unlocked.
If you are blocked despite having paid your invoices, please contact our support team at support@xautomotive.com.
Another retailer is offering xHP at a very low price, can you do anything?
Please send us a screenshot of the retailer and their company name. We can then contact the xHP Pro dealer so that they can adjust their prices.
Can I flash a customer vehicle remotely?
xHP Flashtool and xDelete should only be flashed on customer vehicles in your workshop. Remote flashing is not supported by us. If the customer cannot come to your workshop, he has to flash xHP Flashtool or xDelete himself or go to a nearby xHP Pro Dealer.
Can I resell Dealer Credits?
Dealer Credits are bound to the respective xHP Pro dealer and cannot be transferred to other dealers or end customers.
